Eddie graduated from Ottawa Univeristy, Kansas in 1967.  As quarterback he led the football team to an undefeated season in 1965-66; he set several records and is in the OU Hall of Fame. Drafted by the Houston Oilers of the AFL, Ed later played on several semi-pro teams. Eddie died as a result of a car accident in Virginia in June 1986. He's survived by his wife Diane.
